Maintenance of fire doors is a mandatory periodic procedure (Ministerial Decree 10/03/98, Annex VI) that requires regular maintenance, as is the case with fire prevention systems. Who should perform the fire door inspection? Inspections must always be performed by companies that meet the legal requirements, and once completed, maintenance must always be certified by attaching a card certifying the inspection and recording the completed operations in the fire prevention equipment register.
